Here are some basic back movements that will make your back stronger. Any thing where you're pulling in will make your back thicker, pulling down will make it wider. Ladies, these exercises will not turn you masculine, you don't produce enough testosterone. These exercises will give you a very fit look in time. 
 
This first video is great for back and core. When you incorporate a push-up it works the chest and triceps. Great for a metabolic routine.

This cable row exercise will help guys thicken their back.
 
 
The next exercise is a bent over row for more upper back, remember you want to be symetrical so you want to hit muscles from different angles.
