This first exercise is a great home gym/beginner exercise. The reason I say that is because it's on an exercise ball so you don't need a bench.

*** Warning one thing I want you to be careful of is if you're older or have knee problems getting on an exercise ball can be difficult. So try a bench or you may want to start with a personal trainer. Proceed at your own risk. 
 
The easiest way to get on your back on an exercise ball is to simply sit on it, then lay back as the ball rolls up your back move your feet out. You'll see me do it in this video.
